Our Dessert Recipes

With summer in full swing, we thought we would do a "ready-made" post and a round-up of some of our favorite desserts.  Having a barbecue or going to a potluck?  Make or take a dessert!  We have some pretty easy ones:).

Ok, pumpkin is mostly thought of as a Fall dish.  You can always save this for later use lol.  This recipe is for a Thanksgiving dessert, a Halloween treat, or anytime!  This is a dish that actually tastes even more yummy the day after baking!  Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake is pretty awesome, if we do say so ourselves:).

Sugar cookies are such a hit at our house--we make them all year.  They are great for holidays--Christmas, Valentine's Day, Halloween, etc. and we have a great recipe AND bakery style icing recipe!  Oh man, that icing recipe is just as good as the one used in the bakery I worked in when I was a teen-ager.  Memories...

Another of our favorites and one of our most popular posts, Cake Mix Cookies is fast and requires few ingredients.  We have been making these for years and many ask us to make them!

Easy Cherry Crumble is a 3 ingredient dessert that goes together quickly and tastes delicious with vanilla ice cream!  Awesome to end a hot summer day with.

Apples are in abundance pretty much all through the year so we had to include our Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake.  I often made this on the weekend for breakfast and served it with scrambled eggs and bacon to my little boys (my husband, too).  I hadn't made it for quite sometime so it was nice to serve it again.

Ali Rose has a sweet offering, too--Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cake.  Quite tasty!

Last but not least, Staci makes this Snickers Cake for her husband's birthday each year.  We make it for not-so-special occasions, too.  YUMMY!

Thanks for stopping by today!  We hope that you will try one or two or all of our dessert recipes!

We just linked up at a (new to us) linky party:  Home Sweet Home.  Stop by and visit, won't you?
